After studying "The Royal Road To Card Magic" I thought it was time to move on. I initially bought volumes 1 and 2 and after discovering how good they are, I asked my wife to buy me the rest of the set for Christmas. These books are awesome, clearly and concisely written with very clear line drawings. Although volumes 1 and 2 cover fairly basic ground, I found myself using these to fine tune many of my existing sleights. Volume 3 and 4 cover more advanced techniques and there is simply a massive amount of information available here. Volume 5 starts with a chapter on new techniques and strategies and the rest of the book is devoted mainly to tricks and routines.
All in all, these books collectively are THE bible of card magic that no card magician should be without, and while they are pricey, they are worth every penny and come highly recommended.
