The ALMANAC was originally a monthly magic publication in which many of magic’s biggest stars would share their newest ideas. Richard Kaufman has finally bound every issue together in their original form between the covers of this book. COLLECTED ALMANAC contains a vast collection of both coin and card ideas, as well as discussions and thoughts on the theory and practice of magic. One trick in the book is called The Vanishing Aces in which, a card is selected and lost in the pack. Then the four aces are placed face up on top of the deck – they then vanish one at a time and appear in the middle of the deck, with the selected card sandwiched between them.
