The spectator is given a small chip to hold, but they are not given the chance to look at it. With their other hand they are asked to hold up any number of fingers. Let's say they hold up two.

The magician shows six cards, each showing a hand with a different number of fingers up (0-5). The card with two fingers up is green. After all of the cards are shown to be different colours, the spectator opens their hand to find that the chip they are holding is green!
