Hippity Hop Rabbits with a Christmas theme

This is basically hippity hop rabbits/ elusive rabbits but themed for Christmas shows

• Hand made to a high standard
• Boxes are stickered with elves/mushrooms NOT painted

Basic effect:

The magician explains that the children are very lucky as he has brought along 2 of Santa’s magic elves.

They are also the magician’s favourite colours being red and green!

The magician brings out two black boxes. One with a red mushroom painted on and one with a green mushroom. He lifts the boxes revealing 2 elves of corresponding colours underneath. As he does this the magician miss names the colours. The children are quick to point this out and the magician corrects himself.

The magician explains that because they are magic elves they can change places by magic! He places the boxes/covers over the corresponding coloured elves and turns them around. JUST so the children can see all around the boxes!

When the covers are removed the elves HAVE changed places! Magic! The children however are suspicious that the magician has simply turned the boxes around and they MUST be different colours on the opposite sides!

“No, explains the magician, I didn’t turn them around, I’ll do it again” He once again places the mushroom covers over the corresponding elves. The magician says the magic words. But before lifting off the covers the magician explains that he must check his pockets first to make sure he has everything he needs. As he does this he covers the boxes with his jacket and turns the boxes/covers around again. And reveals that the elves have changed places again by magic!

The children once again are not fooled or impressed as they know the magician cheated and turned the boxes around again!

Finally the magician says that he will do the trick one more time and won’t even go near the boxes this time. He once again places the mushroom covers over the corresponding coloured elves and stands back. “This time we will all count to 3” he explains. On 3 the magician screams “look its Santa!” pointing behind the children. As the children turn to look he sneakily turns around the boxes again. He once again reveals that the elves have changed places.

The children are now shouting that they saw him turn them around and demand to see the back of the elves because they know that they are different colours on the back. After some by play the magician finally turns the elves around showing that they are in fact different colours on the back, but ORANGE and BLUE!!
